Well, this has really been an unusual week. I attended a workshop on Tuesday and then went to the Dr. after school yesterday, so I have had very little time to comment on happenings here at school.
Today was a day spent with fractions and Hatchet. We learned about addition of fractions with like denominators and about equivalent fractions.
We have not had as much time as I had hoped to work on our Young Authors' books, so next week we will be busy researching and writing. We will also begin our ISAT test prep as this test is coming at us pretty quickly.
Today we learned taking good notes is really helpful to prepare for a quiz. All of the students earned an A or a B on their quiz over chapters 13 and 14 in Hatchet.

Mattie will be leaving us! Her last day is this Friday, she is moving to Lake Geneva with her mom and sister. We will miss you Mattie! Congratulations to all of the fourth grade spelling stars! Rachel ended as the third place winner! Way to go Rachel!!!
